    The PROMIS® Health Organization is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation founded in 2008 by PROMIS principal investigators. The PHO is an open membership society that welcomes members from around the world to bring the "patient's voice" to the forefront of care.

    The PHO is led by a board of directors and membership opportunities are open to anyone interested in PROMIS. The PHO board and members work to encourage the use of PROMIS by offering guidance and education on the scientific standards to promote widespread use and adoption of PROMIS.

    The Board of Directors is pleased to introduce
    Lousanne "Zan" Lofgren as PHO's executive director.  

    Lofgren previously served as executive director of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society and the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Foundation for 10 years and in senior director positions at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for 21 years. She is a graduate of Northwestern University.
